VEC Career Discussions with College Students — begins March 15, 2016 at UVM
VEC is working with Vermont universities and colleges to host environmental career panel discussions. The panels will be comprised of VEC board members with diverse backgrounds and professions within the environmental sector, and will provide students with a better understanding of the different opportunities in the field regardless of degree focus and to hear firsthand from prominent environmental professionals in Vermont how their career paths evolved. The panels will also give students advice on how best to market themselves to potential employers and will allow students an opportunity to ask questions. Interested in participating? Contact Kurt Muller, PE, The Johnson Company, (802) 229-4600, jkm@jcomail.com.
The first panel will be held at UVM on March 15, 2016 from 6-7pm in the UVM Career + Experience Hub in Burlington, Vermont. Check back often for future career discussion events at your local college or university.
